EBLA shares best practices on development at the General Assembly of the United Nations

Empowering Business Latin America (EBLA) shared best practices for development to help alleviate poverty in emerging countries at the United Nations last week. The social impact business entrepreneur, Mildred Espinoza, CEO and Founder of EBLA gave the speech at the General Assembly before high-level government officials from different nations, United States athletes and artists, Not-for-profit organizations and civil society. Espinoza highlighted the importance of focusing efforts on social impact initiatives that involve financial inclusion to empower the less fortunate. ´´At EBLA we believe in the vital role private sector plays to mobilize communities and transform lives. We challenge all to join the movement to become catalysts for social change´´, said Espinoza, who also shared the social impact projects EBLA is leading in Guatemala.

The event celebrated International Day for Sports for Development and Peace. The occasion was hosted by the Permanent Mission of Grenada to the United Nations and organized by the Jack Brewer Foundation, an initiative to create an open dialogue to promote development to achieve opportunities for the world´s most underserved populations.
